Latest News.........

Happy New Year to all! Welcome back to the Women’s Community Centre (SA) Inc. 2010, the year of the Tiger will be a year where we as a Centre of 34 years Community standing re-establish and reconnect ourselves within our Community. The WCCSA as one of the oldest Community Centre’s in South Australia has long been a service that delivers much needed programs, services, social networks, support and referral services to the women of South Australia.

Our focus of providing these services at low cost have been fundamental in assisting women who are disadvantaged and/or marginalised due to numerous and varying circumstances. This year our aim is to maintain our original focus whilst further developing our service and engaging more women and their families into our programs, services and community - “Women Creating and Connecting Communities”.The WCCSA is looking towards a prosperous and successful future in 2010. We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in funding submissions with the Office For Recreation and Sport, Community Benefit SA and the Premiers Cabinet. This funding will greatly assist the WCCSA in the provision of programs and services at the WCCSA to assist more women with and their families with their educational, recreational, spiritual and personal development pursuits.

I look forward to seeing you all at the WCCSA in 2010 and would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and dedication.
