Term 2 2017 Program
Some of our Term 2 Program starts on the 1st week of May and others on the 2nd week of May. Barista and Hospitality Training, Ukelele, Guitar, Fitness, English for Empowerment, Caffe & Chat in Italian, Essential Maths, Personal and Professional Development are new additions to the Centre’s popular programs.
Water Colour and French for Fun and Travel are two new courses being offered by Laure, one of the Centre’s new Business Members.
We take this opportunity to welcome our new volunteer facilitators Adelaide ( English for Empowerment), Pina(Barista & Hospitality), Rose (Yoga & Mindfullness), Laura ( Fitness) and Richard (Ukelele and Guitar).
We bid farewell temporarily to Rhubee (Singing) as she returns to Northern Territory to visit her family. Luckily for WCCSA Isabelle returns to help women to discover their singing voice again.
Multicultural Food and Conversation returns with sponsorship from Zonta Club of Flinders with Luisa as the new facilitator as Liz is busy preparing for her SALA exhibition later this year.
Pathways to Empowerment is being offered again by Zahra Foundation and run by Kelly for the third term at the Centre. This is a very inspiring program assisting women who have experienced DV to rediscover themselves and pursue their own life’s journey. Many of the Centre members who have attended this program have benefitted enormously from it and others who have discovered the Centre through the Pathways program have since become our valuable members and volunteers.
Holistic Healing with Giang continues to be extremely popular on Wednesday and Fridays at very affordable prices. Giang is also a JP. So anyone who needs a JP’s signature can see her at the Centre on the days that she comes in.
Despite WCCSA’s course’s being very low cost, there are still many who can’t afford it. Please contact the Centre, if you would like to sponsor a program or a woman or know someone who would be interested in doing so. You would be offering someone a life changing experience for just $60/- a term. All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible as the Centre has a DGR status with ATO.
If you would like to attend any of our programs, it is important that you reserve a place for yourselves by booking in. This helps us to make sure that the programs run smoothly.
